Ensuring a Child Labour-Free Workplace

UCS strictly prohibits the use of child labour in any form. We uphold the rights of all children to be protected from economic exploitation and from performing any work that may interfere with their education, health, or development.

In accordance with The Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth), Child Employment Act 2003 (VIC) and ILO Conventions No. 138 (Minimum Age) and No. 182 (Worst Forms of Child Labour), our stance is not only legal but ethical — we believe every child has the right to learn, play, and grow in a safe environment.

Our Commitment to Protecting Children

  • We do not employ any person below the legal minimum working age.
  • We monitor and audit our suppliers to ensure they do not engage in child labour.
  • We work to remove and remediate any instances of child labour found in our operations or supply chain.
