IOSH MANAGING SAFELY
The Institution of Occupational Safety & Health (IOSH) is a UK based organization that is considered as the largest membership organization of health and safety professionals. IOSH Managing Safely course is ideal for anyone in any sector worldwide who wants to learn the basics of health and safety. Once you successfully complete the course, you will be able to get a better understanding of your own health and safety responsibilities. The course will enable you to assess and control risks and hazards, measure your own performance and investigate incidents, and will reflect in your good practices in health and safety.
The course duration is split on 3-4 working days (24 hours) and is divided into 7 modules that cover the key areas of managing safely. To complete the course, candidates are required to undertake a multi-format assessment and a short workplace-based practical project. The project work must be completed and sent back within 7 days from the course completion date. Candidates who successfully complete the assessment at the end of the course are awarded an IOSH Managing Safely Certificate.
